Two Low Carb Chinese Recipes

Reduced Carb Recipe of Chinese Eco-friendly Beans


1 pkg frozen eco-friendly beans — (16 ounce) 500g

1 pkt chicken broth — dry crytals

1 bunch scallion

2 lg garlic clove bulb

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger root

1 teaspoon splenda

1 tablespoons of peanut butter — creamy

1/8 teaspoon sesame oil — chinese


Inside a 2-quart 2 litre microwave-safe casserole dish, mix eco-friendly beans and broth granules. Cover and microwave on high for 4 minutes. Meanwhile, slice whitened lights of scallion into rings and mine garlic clove. In normal size bowl, mix ginger root, soy sauce and SPLENDA. Add scallion rings and garlic clove. Put aside. Remove eco-friendly beans from microwave and uncover. Pour sauce over beans and stir. Cover and microwave on high for 4 minutes. Stir in peanut butter and sesame oil until sauce jackets the beans and serves immediately. Make 6 portions

Reduced Carb Recipe of Lemon Chicken


2 tbsps Dry sherry

4 eco-friendly (Spring) let’s eat some onions, chopped

1 Bit of root ginger root, shredded

500g (1 pound) boned chicken, reduce 1 ” strips

2 Celery stays, sliced

125g (4oz) button mushrooms, quartered

1 Eco-friendly pepper, cored, seeded, and sliced

2 tbsps Light soy sauce

Shredded rind of two lemon

A couple of lemon slices to garnish

2 tbsps oil for stir-baking


Place the sherry, spring let’s eat some onions and ginger root inside a bowl. Add some chicken, toss well to coat, then leave to marinate within the bowl for fifteen minutes.
